David Livingstone College of Education, DALICE, is a Teacher Training College located in the beautiful Tourist City of Livingstone, in the Southern Province of Zambia. The college offers several teacher training programs. These are: Two-year Certificate in Pre-School Teaching, Three-year Secondary Teachers Diploma that is offered in three different study modes namely, Full time study, Extension Studies and Distance. The distance study mode is mainly for those with an initial teacher training qualification and would like to upgrade to Secondary Teachers Diploma.

David Livingstone College of Education Library is the hub of information in the college. The Library supports learning, teaching and research through its hybrid collection of information materials. The Library provides information in all the formats. Electronic information materials are online and can be accessed via the internet and our local area network. Dspace, eGranary and the Dropbox are some of the resources providing eResources.
Our computer laboratory is the centre for all ICT lessons which is compulsory to all first year students. All its computers are connected to the internet and the local area network. The computer laboratory is the main connector to all wifi access points in the college. Students can therefore access internet service and electronic information materials within and outside the campus.
As a means of communicating Christian values, beliefs and customs DALICE has embraced a unique culture aimed at producing innovative, effective and responsibleteachers.The College realized that culture is an important social function and fosters the feelings of group identity and solidarity. It is therefore the means by which culture and its traditions and shared values may be conveyed and preserved.
